Georgetown requires that all transfer applicants submit:
Georgetown Transfer Application
$75 application fee or a completed fee waiver
Transfer Application Supplement
Official transcripts from current college and any previously attended colleges
Dean’s Report from current college/university
Professor’s Report from a professor, preferably in your intended major
Secondary School Report, including your final high school transcript
SAT scores or ACT scores
Transfer applicants who graduated from high school five or more years before when they would start at Georgetown don't have to submit test scores.
Who gets into Georgetown as a transfer student?
Georgetown is more open than many colleges about the academic credentials that make for a competitive applicant.
The average college GPA for admitted transfer students is approximately 3.8 – 3.9, and most of these admitted students were in the top 10-20% of their graduating high school class.
Georgetown University transfer deadline
The Georgetown transfer application deadline for transfer applicants is March 1. Sometimes Georgetown lets in transfers for the spring semester too, but the deadline is the same.
Financial aid forms are due on the same day, March 1.

Georgetown doesn't have any transfer agreements with community colleges, but lots of other colleges do! Let's work together to find another option for you. Georgetown does emphasize that some admitted transfer applicants attended community colleges.
Georgetown University transfer application advice
Keep your grades up, even as you work on your transfer applications. Transfer applicants' grades in college courses are almost certainly the most important element of their applications to Georgetown.
Remember to submit standardized test scores. Georgetown requires them, which is increasingly uncommon. If you think you could have gotten better SAT or ACT scores, you could re-take the test, but don't do test prep at the expense of your college coursework or getting strong transfer applications together.
Get organized. You don't want to miss the Georgetown transfer deadline! You're probably also considering schools other than Georgetown too. The transfer application process requires keeping track of lots of transfer deadlines and requirements. It's so easy to let something slip through the cracks. Get compelling recommendation letters. These letters should come from college professors and focus primarily on your college-level coursework. The admissions committee cares less about your high school performance at this stage. Demonstrate interest in Georgetown in particular. Show that you want to attend Georgetown with lots of little college-specific details in your essays. That will make the admissions committee think you're likely to enroll if admitted, which may improve your odds. Know what your family can afford. At many colleges, financial aid for transfer students is less generous. Georgetown is more generous to transfer students than most colleges are; it guarantees to meet their demonstrated need and not to consider financial need when choosing whom to let in.
